Grosbeak Guitars is a small, one man shop based in Yonkers, NY. I began playing bass guitar in my teens. Soon after that I started collecting basses, then modifing them. Grosbeak Guitars formed when I decided that to get what I really wanted from a bass, I needed to build it from the ground up.
All guitars and basses are built from raw materials only using hand and manual power tools. There are no CNC’d parts. Body contours are shaped by hand as are the necks. I find this gives each instrument a more personal feel and vibe similar to a well-loved vintage instrument.
