Owner & Builder, Henry D’Allacco, began playing bass guitar in his teens. Always striving to get the most out of his basses, he began to tinker, and modify them. Grosbeak Guitars formed when Henry decided that to get what he really wanted from his bass, he couldn’t just modify it, he needed to build it from the ground up. Today, Grosbeak Guitars builds vintage inspired electric guitars and basses with modern updates using old time methods.

Henry is dedicated to keep Grosbeak Guitars as a handmade, made in New York business. He is currently working with local lumber suppliers in Westchester County, NY. He also cares for the environment and has made a promise to use eco-friendly materials at Grosbeak Guitars, such as water soluble paint.

Henry is passionate about music and community. Grosbeak Guitars will have a philanthropy division that will work with local school districts and encourage music in the classroom.
